Weddings at St. Aloysius

Congratulations on your engagement!

Marriage is a covenant between two people who vow to love each other as long as they live, for the good of each other, and for the children they may raise. Couples prepare for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony by strengthening their faith, both as an individual and as a couple, and deepening their understanding of marriage.  Because the Catholic Church considers marriage a sacrament, we want couples to be well-prepared. Rather than a burden, couples are encouraged to view this time of preparation as a way of getting to know each other better and growing closer to Christ.

Non-parishioners are welcome to get married here, but you must complete your marriage prep classes at your home parish/the church you are currently attending. If you do not currently have a parish home, please research the churches in your area and register for a parish. It is important to make attending Sunday Mass a priority during the marriage prep process and after you are married. Once you have registered at the parish, connect with the marriage coordinator to begin the marriage prep classes. This should be done AT LEAST 6 months prior to your wedding date; 8 months is preferred.

Marriage prep must be initiated at least 6 months before the wedding date.

To schedule a date, please
submit a wedding inquiry.
